Arb

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is responsible for protecting public health and the environment from the harmful effects of air pollution. They develop and implement programs to reduce air pollution and combat climate change across the state. This includes setting air quality standards, overseeing emission reduction efforts for vehicles and stationary sources, and researching air pollution impacts. CARB also works to address air quality challenges in communities disproportionately affected by pollution and engages the public in its decision-making processes.
