Metro Safety offer a unique and comprehensive range of fire, health & safety and building services to over 20,000 residential and commercial properties throughout the UK. We provide risk assessments, essential testing and maintenance routines and training to help ensure our clients are compliant with fire, health and safety legislation. Our aim is to help clients achieve safety compliance simply and cost-effectively. Metro Safety offers a comprehensive solution to help meet your fire safety management requirements. Services range from fire risk assessments through to the installation, maintenance and testing of a wide range of fire safety equipment. We also conduct fire evacuation drills and provide fire safety training. Fire Risk Assessments Metro SRM are BAFE certified under scheme SP205 Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment. We carry out over 3,000 Fire Risk assessments per year for a wide range of property types including retail, commercial, residential, social housing, care homes and local authorities. Fire Safety Equipment – Testing & Maintenance We test and maintain fire safety systems in over 3,000 properties and conduct over 150,000 routine testing visits per year. This includes fire alarm systems, emergency lights, AOV testing, dry risers, fire doors, sprinkler systems and extinguishers. Fire Protection Consultancy Our design and specification service makes resolving risk assessment remedial actions straightforward. Metro Safety’s technical experts will interpret the recommendations and produce a fire alarm and/or emergency lighting design to satisfy the requirements of both the fire risk assessment and the relevant British Standard. All asbestos services are provided by our subsidiary, Strategic Risk Management (Asbestos) Limited. SRMA Limited offer the following types of asbestos survey in accordance with the requirements of ISO17020 and HSG 264. Management Surveys Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys Asbestos Re-inspections Our water safety specialists who are able to conduct legionella risk assessments for a wide range of property types, including commercial, residential, industrial and retail. They can identify and assess any potential hazards within your water systems and recommend actions to help manage any identified risks. Consultancy advice is available to deal with more complex water safety management issues. We are able to build a considerable number of building maintenance and PPM services into a customised service package to meet your requirements. Services, range from fire alarm and smoke detection system maintenance through to access control, lift intercom systems, eye bolts and water flushing. Where possible these services would be bundled together and delivered by multi-skilled engineers to bring costs down. We offer H&S risk assessments in addition to a wide range of health & safety consultancy services to help you remain legislatively compliant and protect you against potential civil claims or criminal prosecution.
