Products External Steel Doors The Robust ‘OUTA-DOR’ product leads the industry in steel doorsets; built for general purpose, this range of external steel doors are available in a wide range of sizes, manufactured in the UK and with an average lead time of only ten days. Internal Flush Doors Our Internal Flush designed Steel Doors are suitable for use in most applications where timber is traditionally specified. Our steel doors are available in a wide range of sizes from 690mm - 1340mm wide single doors and 1000mm - 2600mm wide double doors, and from 1500mm - 2800mm high. Doors are made to order in 10mm increments. Security Doors The Robust 'TUFF-DOR' is a fully certified LPS 1175 security doorset, designed to offer an enhanced level of security for premises requiring a higher level of protection than that offered by a basic steel hinged doorset. SECUR-DOR Security doors offer a physical barrier designed to deter and delay intruders for a specified time period. These doors should be used in conjunction with secondary defences and specified accordingly. GLAS-DOR Our steel profile GLAS-DOR is available in fire rated and non-fire rated specifications. Single and double configurations are available fully glazed or with mid rails. Fire Doors Fire rated doors are designed to contain and prevent the spread of fire for a specified period of time. Our Fire Doors are available in latched and unlatched configurations, with sizes and hardware constraints varying between classifications. Louvred Doors Our fully Louvred Steel Doors are suitable for plant rooms, boiler rooms, etc. where continuous airflow is required to ventilate machinery, vegetation, etc. Profiled Doors Robust have designed a range of Profiled Doors to allow our conventional steel doors to step away from their 'industrial' image, with carefully selected patterns bringing traditional timber designs to steel doorsets. Stainless Steel Doors Robust Stainless Steel Doors are manufactured from grade 304 or 316 stainless steel sheet and are suitable for environments requiring corrosion protection. Stainless steel doors are also available in a wide range of coloured, textured and patterned finishes to suit specific design requirements. Hardware & Parts We are happy to supply door hardware and replacement parts for Robust UK steel doors. We stock a wide range of steel door parts, including: handles, locks, hinges, seals, panic hardware, closers & stays, cylinders, paint, thresholds, access control hardware, and plates. Robust was founded in 1999, working from a small workshop in Upper Tean, Staffordshire. As the business has grown it’s relocated to larger premises on several occasions, always staying true to it’s Staffordshire roots and now settling in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The acquisition by Novoferm in 2019 has allowed substantial investment into these new premises, ensuring continued growth for years to come. The UK market is currently becoming more aware of the benefits of choosing high quality steel doors over timber, not only in terms of their life expectancy and whole cost but also in terms of the durability and flexibility of the materials. Robust UK believes in the longevity of steel, providing an immovable and constant defence against whatever the world has to throw at us. This is where the Old English definition for steel comes from. Robust believes in innovation, using state of the art CNC machinery to provide both standard and custom-made products according to customer specification. Due to our use of flat sheet materials, we are also able to incorporate almost any hardwear configuration into our doorsets, made to order and with swifter lead times. Steel sheet material is available in a variety of finishes, including Magnelis, basic Zintec, Aluzinc or galvanised materials, offering corrosion resistance which can be enhanced by polyester powder coating in an enormous range of colours. If greater environmental protection is required, we can increase the powder coat finish to meet marine grade specifications, and our enhanced corrosion resistant base material, Magnelis, offers up 10 years anti-corrosion warranty.
