About Roofguard
1st For Flat Roofing Products we use: PVC Single Ply Single ply roofing has become an increasingly popular flat roof covering over the last few years. Essentially, a single ply membrane roof is comprised of flexible sheets of synthetic polymer that can be divided into two main groups, thermoplastics and synthetic rubber. Due to the fact that thermoplastics can be re-heated and re-molded, they have become the number one option for many roofing contractors undertaking flat roof installations. Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) is recognised as a thermoplastic membrane and has been used as a single ply membrane roofing material across Europe since the sixties. From the largest of factory rooftops to much smaller garage roofs and bay windows, it can be easily used in a variety of situations and environments. EPDM EPDM is an extremely durable synthetic rubber membrane (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer). Its two primary ingredients, ethylene and propylene, are derived from oil and natural gas. EPDM is available in any size for supply or supply and fit, and in two thicknesses, 1mm and 1.2mm. EPDM can be installed either fully adhered (on clean/new deck) or ballasted, with the seams of the roofing system heat and pressure welded as standard. Wecryl Liquid Waterproofing System The Wecryl roof waterproofing system is specifically designed as a highly durable waterproofing system for flat roofs. Since it is applied as a liquid, it creates a seamless waterproofing system in which even the most complex roof penetrations can be reliably and durably incorporated. It is also extremely weather-resistant, crack-bridging, flexible at low temperatures and its surface can be finished in any desired colour.
